I've noticed EFSW spamming file change notifications, heavily slowing down operations like build imports.

Looking into alternatives might be useful.

wxWidgets' own was good, but too coupled with the library's own event queue, so it's not an option.

Closing this because I'm thinking of outright removing the file watching mechanism entirely.
